History of MP5 with U.S. Special Forces....and HK UMP45

Thanks for sharing. We had MP5s for CQB and VBSS, both 9mm (which I loved!) and .45. Aside from training in those environments we used M-16s, some old CAR-15s, then the M-4. Once we got M-4s we really never used the MP5 again.
 
I got to shoot one several times at Jim's in Fatalburg. He had the MP5SD (integral suppressor) version. Damn fine weapon. All the HK's in that series like the 91 and 93 were bomb proof and reliable. I guess ulitmately the rifles were too damn heavy in comparison to a 16" or less M4.
