Can't get nominated for any Emmy or Oscar's without check all the diversity boxes that woke nation requires.

The latest entry, this week's episode of The Good Doctor. Until this year it didn't push the woke crap.
But this week, they included a black patient who saw racism everywhere, doctors "owned" their unconscious bias, even the black doctors.
And a heterosexual couple that thought themselves to be a gay couple, pushing the "men can have babies too" lie.
If one is XX and one is attracted to XY, one is heterosexual. Basic genetics.

Basically a gay man and a woman dressed up as a man who got pregnant.
They insisted they were both gay men except for that inconvenient fetus getting in they way.
We’re pretty much done with this show. It’s gotten SO bad this season. It’s like the writers are trying to out-do each other’s wokeness.

The coast of the US are beginning to resemble Sodom and Gomorrah. I am not a religious person, but man our large city coasties have run off the rails.
 
I really like The Rookie. I'll watch pretty much anything Nathan Fillion is in...
but this season the wokeness is terrible
Even my wife, who tends to purposely avoid all things political, says the episodes were filmed after the BLM stuff took off and the show is suffering because of all the crap they're cramming in.

Have you watched San Clemente Diet? He is great in it, but you have to watch the whole show, trust me.
 
if "Hollywood" means movies but not TV or any other media...then we agree.
if "gone full woketard" means: recently...then we disagree.

The UK National Health Service published a guide that replaces "breastfeeding mothers" with "chestfeeding people". And explains that "the vast majority of people who get pregnant are women". I am not making this up.
 
We’re enjoying going through Last Man Standing & MASH on Hulu.
LMS cracks me up, me wife says I’m opinionated the same way. The daughters need to be Gibb smacked.

But with that story line, you can do the racism angle with poor minorities getting turned away because of no insurance, segway to the evils of capitalism, and finish off with the purity yet unrewarded diligence of the underpaid, understaffed, overworked but extremely competent and refreshingly woke staff at the government hospital.
 
Cancelled cable tv again this year. Adult kids loaded stuff on ours so they could watch while here. I have two channels I watch. Any show pushing woke BS gets changed.
 
My only TV is a like new 42” plasma bought new in 2006 that I would gladly give away in the “free stuff pay it forward” thread if (a) it didn’t weigh 100 lbs and (b) wife didn’t watch Hallmark one hour a week on it.

I was 16 and long awaited that premier.

I don’t get how they think people want to watch the “woke” BS. Unfortunately, there seems to be too much of a lag between the producer and consumer in this advertisement driven TV model for them to get the message. At least with streaming if people cancel, they notice.
 
I got about halfway through first episode of the remake of Walker Texas Ranger before I had to turn it off. The chick lost her job as a cancer researcher when “somebody had to build a wall” instead of funding cancer research. Then the homo couple. @Crazy Carl got it right, just entertain me, dammit. I’d turn off right-wing propaganda just as quickly as left wing, I think, if such a thing ever existed coming out of Hollywood.
 
I basically don't watch anything other than YT now. There used to be a few shows on cable I would record and watch them when I just needed to "veg out", but they all gradually just woked out and got deleted.

First I thought it was me being too sensitive to the fact that most TV shows and movies seem to be taking a jab at me and my beliefs but it's pretty much in your face now.
 
Not really "on topic," but reading the dropping cable posts above brought back fond memories of those Direct TV "get rid of cable" commercials.

"Don't wake up in a road-side ditch. Get rid of cable."
