Back a couple months ago, I was clearing some brush and got tore up by poison ivy. In the search for a killer, the wife gave me a link for a weed killer that's not a store bought poison and it works really well. 1 gallon of white vinegar 1 cup of table salt Squish of dishwashing soap. You have to heat the vinegar to dissolve all the salt, since its stinky I use the camp stove out in the garage. $14 hand pump sprayer from Lowes. It might take an application or two, but it killed off the ivy and works great on weeds near a fence line that your getting tired of weed wacking.
