“Fenti was sitting in his vehicle at the Fort Fisher historic battlefield when Hall approached and started shooting several rounds, striking Fenti multiple times. During the shooting, one round went through Fenti’s vehicle and struck a second victim who was sitting in his vehicle in the head. The second victim was rushed to New Hanover Regional Medical Center where he is in critical condition,” an NHCSO announcement states.

Officials identify suspect and victim in homicide at Fort Fisher Historic Park

A suspect is in custody after a homicide Monday at Fort Fisher Historic Park, the New Hanover County Sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post.
