....is a 1st class pile of steaming yucky stuff.

That is all.

Oh don’t tell me that, I’m working on 3 of them right now. What’s the issue?

I cannot get it to throw a consistent charge.

I've done all of the calibration steps, adjusted the trickle speed to "my god this is gonna take forever" and told it start trickling .5-1.0 grains before target weight...I get maybe 1 good charge out of 4-5 attempts.

I'm using the ting for target practice tomorrow.

If you do try to work with it...I suggest the following steps:

- turn it on and leave it for 20 minutes to "settle" per the instructions
- before setting target weight, set the trickle start (how many grains before target before it slows to a tickle) to 0.6
- Set the Mode to Manual
- settle trickle speed to "well, hell, I've got time for another beer" speed
- set your target weight
- hit dispense
- curse loudly and often
- pour the overcharge back in the hopper
- shoot the damn thing.

That's with both Varget and RL17

I have one and haven't had any problems throwing lilgun. Some powders need this mod I think:

OK.....credit where it's due, right?

This straw trick seems to have promise. I've had 3 good throws in a row now doing this.

Good news is I misread your title, I’m just working on their regular powder measures.

Bad news is that I have the RCBS auto dispenser and can sometimes use it to weigh either my shadow or my soul, it’s hard to tell which, but it’s as heavy as a couple grains.
