Horseshoe Knife

I would love to learn blade smithing. Thought after retirement I would take it up as a hobby. But right now got to may irons in the fire doing all the things to the house that I said I would do when I retire lol. Hopefully I’ll get caught up soon.

Isn't having irons in the fire part of blade smithing? Congrats your halfway there! 😉
 
Was in Brevard this past weekend and this caught my eye. The guy was a finalist on Forged in Fire season 5.
If I ever find spare time and need another hobby this kind of stuff would be fun.

Someone told me that you can sign up for a blacksmithing program at the Renaissance Festival and make a railroad spike knife. Might be something to check out to see if you like doing it.

I may have to check that out. I haven't hit the Renaissance Festival before but would for that.
