How cool, they can now grant themselves more power

All this emergency declaration and powers "stuff" is unconstitutional unless that state's constitution allows it which most do not. Didnt stop the good folks in charge down in Brunswick Co. back during Floyd or Fran (I forget which). They didnt even declare an emergency, they just somehow put the word out to stop all alcohol sales immediately or go to jail. Usually this kinda crap wont flush in the northern states because drinkin' is all there is to do in the winter.
 
This is in Champaign, not Chicago. I think the population of the city os 50% school kids who now just have online school. If she stops alcohol sales it’ll probably because the bored kids are going even more nuts than usual in the spring.

I’m not saying that it’s right, but I’m also not ready to say that they don’t have good intentions.
 
Constitution is barely single ply toilet paper anymore. Just something stupid to remind everyone how very lucky we are with such soft serial raping. Democracy, we the people. Ra, Ra! Martial law won't be necessary...
