How do I find an electrician for solar install?

I don't want a company to come do the entire install. I just need an electrician to do the bits that Duke Power and Chatham county want a licensed electrician for. Any recommendations or ideas on how to find someone? I was kind of blindsided because it is legal in NC for homeowner to do electrical work (except at the meter) as long as permits and inspections are done. Not sure I want to just start calling electricians looking for someone that knows solar...

In case anyone knows somebody, Chatham/Alamance/Orange county area.

Hey friend, I have been away from the residential solar biz for quite a while, but I have reached out to a good friend in the area to find out who worked on his system... Will let you know when I hear anything 👍

I would call Eco Ethic Solar in Lexington... not for an entyre install, but to see if they will do just what you want. They are a family run business, nice folks. If they cannot help, they may know someone.

Sorry, but my buddy has not heard anything back from his contractor. Will let you know if I can turn up any other lead but am at a dead end for now.
