How do I get rid of the idiotic chat box?

I just got here. Can someone explain why the monkey was limping? Is that why he got fired?

Was it a "he" monkey, or... something else?

I saw a spider on my door frame. I just named him "Davey Jones."


ETA: DAMN! Missed it by that much!

I swear it's tan vs tang but my family disagrees. Couldn't ask for a better thread!

For me, it's O-Rang-U-Tang, the best way to pronounce the based ape pongo pygmaeus.

By now you've probably figured out you kinda kicked a hornets nest and didn't make the greatest of first impressions.

So let me let you in on a little secret. You've stumbled into an online community that is more than just a gun forum.

Many of us have been kicking around this forum and prior iterations since 2007. We've trained together, camped and hunted together, drank and broke bread together, celebrated births and mourned deaths together.

When the FNG comes in and one of his first posts is the equivalent of hiking up his leg and pissing on the carpet, he rightly gets roasted.

Welcome to the forum I suppose.

Same. It's not my cup of tea really either and I rarely intentionally look at it. But many of our members use it daily and enjoy it. So it is far from idiotic IMO.
 
But I’d also not use Chat as much if certain people would stop tagging me in there to ask a question.

Now, I fully realize this post will only increase the number of times I’m tagged in Chat for the next day or two. 🙄
