I’m up at a cabin this weekend and I brought my threaded 10/22 and I also have my CGS mod 9. We want to do some plinking but the cabin isn’t THAT remote (in an HOA, but on a few acres with adequate backstop) and don’t want to ruffle any feathers with the rental office. I don’t have a fixed barrel spacer for the can. Being a .22 with low recoil, would I be OK to shoot with just the booster installed? I’m inclined to think the larger bore of the can and limited recoil would be fine, but I don’t want to end up with a baffle/end cap strike either. Anyone have experience with this? And yes I know it’ll get all gunked up but it’s not a sealed can and I’ll clean it following
