Thought this was cool. Wish they had posted it a month or so ago. Stupid simple.

I don't like how shallow they are. And those are for fire starters, Duh. lol

Saw a neat one the other day.

Little girl used newspaper and other scrap paper products and made a paper mache slurry. Squeezed most of the water out, then mixed in the seeds she wanted. Mixed it all up, then pressed batches into silicone forms similar to cupcake pans.

When she was done, she had paper mache seed packets she could easily plant any time, any where she wanted...in or on top of the dirt.

Seems to me that one could also pre-germinate them pretty easily by keeping them damp for a few days. Perhaps even mix in some rich potting soil to the paper mache slurry. Maybe, just before planting, spray them with a light mist of liquid fertilizer or something.

no they are for eggs. as someone who has laying hens, I never part with egg cartons unless they are falling apart.

Haha, I recycle the foam and plastic ones back to my egg supplier. The cardboard ones stay for fire starters until I have enough. Wish we could have chickens here. The difference in the eggs is amazing.
