For those that do not have heat and a/c in your reloading room/shed, how do you control humidity to keep the rust problem to a minimum? Thanks

I run a dehumidifier. Cheap ones use a lot of electricity and don't last long past their warranty, expensive ones use less electricity and last a long time. Keeps the place warm and dry enough that condensation is never an issue.

My 2 car garage is pretty well insulated.
So I run a small window AC. Be diligent about closing the doors behind me and it's very doable. Still runs up to 80* on those 90* days, but it's a dry heat. lol. That and keeping things wiped with silicone/ machine oil does the trick.

Dehumidifier in the sectioned off room in the basement.
Cheap thing from yard sale, been running nearly non-stop for a couple years, I will replace it when it dies, really slowed the rust, and made the whole basement more tolerable.

A small AC running constantly is a great dehumidifier.

My 12x20 reloading shack is very well insulated and sealed. I have a small window AC that I keep the thermostat set to a comfortable level. When the outside temp is not warm enough to cause it to run, humidity is usually not much of a problem. I have a temp/humidity meter in the shack, and I've never seen the humidity over 60%, most of the time during the hot summer it stays around 45%.

In the winter, I have an oil filled radiator on a thermostat that I keep set to about 60 degrees. If you take humid air and warm it up, it lowers the relative humidity. As long as you don't have a moisture source, the humidity stays down.
