S&W sdve 9mm,,,,,Picked it up Friday from a LGS for 250 OTD,,,,,Ran 150 rds through it today with o issues. Trigger is really heavy but damn this is a nice little gun. Now Im going to start telling people looking for a reliable inexpensive gun about this. My favorite value guns is a Hi point but this smith is a really nice looking pistol. No site adjustment but its accurate enough for my standards. Anyone else have one of these.

I picked up one a few months ago from a coworkers son. He had shot it very little and thought he wanted a glock "because that's what everyone else has"
Gun, box, and all papers,2 extra mags,IWB holster, and about 200 rounds of HP ammo $275.
I shot it maybe 50 rounds to make sure it worked.Shot good.Hit where I aimed.Really I was impressed by the pistol. I hope to find time to really put it to the test
and shoot the crap out of it someday.

People on the S&W forum have some pretty nice things to say about the SDVE, particularly after replacing springs to drop the trigger pull weight by 2-3 pounds.

Great deal,,,i just got the pistol and 1 mag. I have a G19 and not seeing a lot of difference besides the price.

It is heavy,,,I personally like that in a carry pistol. Its heavy but does break consistent.

Magazines are not always easy to find locally, nor are any parts. Holsters usually fit the M&P series last time I checked but weren't being made specifically for the SD/SDVE models. Other than that no complaints from me.

I have heard that the clips for the earlier Sigma series are the same. Does anyone know for sure?

Yep, they will but will have a different baseplate. You can get S&W to send you a couple depending on how nice the CS rep is at that time but I wouldn't mess with it. Not the end of the world as they still fit, and can act as an identifier as to which are SW and which are SD mags. Both will run you between $35 and $40 so its not a price savings, people were using the Sigma mags when the SD series first came out as they were harder to find with the correct baseplate.
