We had 10 lbs of fresh steamed muscles at dinner tonight. Was damn good.

Where did you get the mussels? Were they grown or picked locally? I just finished a half bushel of Stump Sound oysters and would love some steamed mussels.

My buddy at the pawn shop has a guy that brings fresh shrimp every other week. Nice and big shrimp that are de-headed and de-veined, 10 pounds for $40. I bag them in one pound bags and freeze them. Some of the best shrimp I've ever boiled. Got 10 pounds coming tomorrow.
