I just weighed my "range ammo can"

I have all my range ammo in a "fat .50" metal can. I was curious how much it weighed, 54lbs. It's got roughly:
300 40S&W
350 9mm
110 44mag
60 44spl
300 357mag
250 357sig
300 38spl
80 7.62 Tok
This is ammo not including the loaded magazines to all my mag fed guns, and the 2 loaded revolvers. And that's just the pistol ammo can... the shotgun takes up 4.

I challenge you to dump that whole lot downrange, pick up the cases, and weigh the thing again. All in one day.

Been there done that, never again, the scale probably wouldn't even pick up the weight

Light weight . If mine doesn't weigh 80 pounds, I'm not sitting here. Then in the back, under my truck seat in the storage compartment I carry another 1k of .45, 1k of 9mm, 1k 9mm subsonic, 500 .300 BO, 1500 5.56 (loaded in mags), a brick of .22, 500 .22 mag, and a brick of subsonic .22

I don't get to shoot too often, but I mean why only bring a few boxes? If you're gonna shoot, shoot everything! And a lot!
