When I was a Drill at ft Jackson, there was some local “MC” chapter of a national one...military, active and vets, joined. Can’t remember the name. Anyway, there were some soldiers from Jackson in this “MC” who added something...a bottom rocker or a third bauble that made their cut appear as if they were a 1% club. They went into a bar and were quickly approached by some real deal guys saying “Who are you and what the F are you doing here?” Some which backtracking and explanations saved them some pain but it almost cost them...and they left immediately. Just an anecdotal story.

As far as an accident...I saw a dash cam footage of a nighttime accident where a guy hit some 1%er...fault seemed pretty fairly mixed. Owning the road driving by the biker and lack of attention by the car driver. The MC got wind of it and came by threatening the driver of the car. Not really a poor life decision, just a circumstance.

The accident thing is unusual. Those guys tend to be very squared away riders, or at least they were when I was out & about. Some folks are just shitbirds & that can't be helped. Of course, I've heard similar stories involving LE. Shitbirds.

Regarding Joe dressing like a pirate, that was simply very poor SA on their part. Like it or not, the 1%er world is a thing & they take it very seriously. If yer gonna run around & play biker, there are some things you just don't do. Playing dress up will get you in trouble if you're stupid.

Not sure what club yall are talking about but a close friend was/is a part of a 1% MC comprised of current and retired 75th Regiment members. From the outside looking in it seems like this would be a career killer which is suprising considering how serious these guys take their careers. Really mind blowing that guys with that much training would be that open about doing dumb shit.
