I want y'all to know, this is the last time we'll meet like this, it's undignified.

As I'm now a BONE-NA-FIED Heckler & Koch owner, you all suck and I hate you.

All kidding aside, I'm digging this P30S. Ergonomics are great, trigger is pretty good for DA/SA, and it's one of the softest shooting service pistols I've owned.

First 50 rounds @ 20 yards on a B-34G was a little disappointing trying to find where to hold the sights and trigger finger position.

Took a little while to tighten the group up because it likes the first joint instead of the pad of my trigger finger like on my striker-fired Glock & Wessons. Second 50 rounds @ 20 yards on a B-34G

Been doing some dry-fire this evening, so hopefully next range trip I can post some better groups. Threw a TLR-7A on it and debating if I'm going to send it off to get milled for a RDS.

Side Note: I originally was planning on zeroing my M&P with it's Horosun, but the screws were too short. So I would get it just about dead on, and noticed the plate was loosening up after every magazine and my shots went way off target. Got some longer screws installed tonight, but gotta wait for the Loctite to cure before a re-zero attempt.

Thanks for reading my blog, hit that like and subscribe button. Say hi to your Momma and all them.

But those ear shots and that miss......my CZ wouldn't have done that.

I believe he is sufficiently weakened for capture.

Well, it appears I made a tactical error during OPERATOR Operations. I let my (((Southpaw))) wife handle the P30 because she asked about it when I was cleaning it after the range. I explained with was kinda like her Beretta except that it was 100% ambidextrous with a 1913 rail for da beamz. Once she put it in her hands, she got a smile like a kid at Christmas. Normally she is fairly neutral about new handguns, but not the P30. She loved the controls, the DA/SA, and even said it felt like they made it exactly for her hands. She even asked if she could have it because she was that impressed with it.

So drove halfway across the state this evening to track down another P30S LE package dodging all the out-of-state license plates and LEOs with itchy ticket fingers. So on Christmas morning, a new OPERATOR will be born and I get to dunk on all the other gift-givers that didn't give Teutonic steel and OPERATOR black polymer.

Look out for my spare kidney on the BST to recoup all these German government export taxes and OPERATOR tax.

I believe you missed the Early Bird Special at the Howard Johnson Gramps, it's after 5pm.

I believe you missed the Howard Johnson for that matter.

Anyways, went back to the range to re-zero the M&P and work on the P30

P30 w/ 50 Fiocchi 115 @ 15 yards

P30 w/ 50 Fiocchi 115 at 25 yards

And 50 124 Blazers at 25 yards with the M&P 2.0 and Horosun 407C.

The M&P has a Calculated Kinetics Dog Tag plate which has a 1/5 lower co-witness because it's thicker since it has a front ledge to block the gases from the LCI on the M&P 2.0. It took awile to get used to the sight picture.

Not a bad range day, but could be better. I will also say the P30 likes hot ammo. The first box I tired in it was Blazer which gave me BTF like the early Gen4 Glocks. The Fiocchi 115 is 1200FPS, so solid ejection pattern. Seems to be the consensus the first 500 should be NATO spec since the recoil spring is tighter than a duck's butt.

tl;dr pew pew pew pew pew
