Having the traditional static targets moving around in the wind was an added bonus to the day.

Oh, they're blowing over backwards, put the weights on the front. Oh, now they're blowing over forwards, put the weights on the back. oh, now they're blowing over....

Awesome day on the range today with a record 117 shooters:

Just got the email entitled "I want to shoot two guns at the match!" and thought.... hell yes, I want to shoot two guns at the match!

Turns out it's a potential limit on PCC and pistols when the match is full. Lame.
To be fair, 120 people at a match has never happened. We got close yesterday with 117 total shooters, but that's our biggest match ever. You'll almost always be allowed to shoot both a handgun and a PCC. Or two handguns. Or two PCCs, if you're trying to compare them. We're flexible.

Yea, I didn't mean it was lame that you had to limit shooters, it was lame that 'two guns' wasn't some new DUAL WIELD division.

Trying to be funny, but clearly I'm not. I blame being sick.

I think that we could work something out...
Each target gets two shots, one from each gun. No reloads. Could be fun...
Amp?
😂😂😂

What kind of soup?

Oh, super squad, not soup or squad.

Anyway, I got closed out and had to sign up on Squad 4.

2 slots left for Saturday's match.

BUG/CCP match coming up on March 30, signup on Practiscore.

Sorry we didn't get to shoot today, but looking forward to next weekend. This is one of my favorite places to shoot. Always great stage designs, the RSO's are always on top of their game and friendly. Lots of great people at these matches. Since I just posted another thread about targets I figured I may as well ask here. I asked years ago about the moving target that is built on extruded aluminum which moves from R>L and L>R at these matches. AT the time, they didn't seem to recall who made it. I would like to find out who it is and see if I can afford one. Anyone have an Idea?

Ed Strickland who now owns Deep River Sporting Clays near Sanford, bought one a few years ago for his IDPA match, so I recall @Amp Mangum got the range owner at H20 to buy one for that match.

It is a local fabricator but I can’t recall who. Maybe Amp can get the name from Andy.

Larry Knott - Down 1 total.

That’s why he’s called “The Scalpel"

Well that, and he’s a retired surgeon.

He scares me either way. :D

Hate I’m gonna miss this match. Love these BUG gun showdowns. Anywho, got an injury that will be taking me out for about 4 months, give or take a few weeks.
