So, since you're already stuck, might as well stop by!Side note :I-75 in Dayton has been under construction that entire 21 years.
Absolutely worth the trip by itself, but if you need an additional reason. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame isnāt too far from Dayton. This is on my bucket list but there is nothing near Dayton where I would ever happen to be near by.
I think I may have to make a trip just to see the museum.
You are correct sir lol.Since moving to NC21+years ago, Isuspect I've driven through Dayton 100 or more times. I've always wondered if it was worth it.

They have old timers that volunteer there. Set aside some time to talk to one of them and it will be very rewarding.View attachment 772069
SR 22 Blackbird. They have steps that go into te cockpit and rear seat that are cool as hell.
Back in the day, when Kermit Weeks had Fantasy of Flight open, he had a B-17 fuselage set up in a life-size diorama where you could step into the fuselage through the rear hatch and then travel up through the bomb-bay where he had a reverse projection screen from the bottom depicting a stick of bombs dropping out. It was really cool and the noise was unreal. Then you could continue forward and peer into the cockpit as you walked out onto an exit platform/stairs. The outside part of the diorama depicted an airfield with the maintenance guys working to replace a couple of engines.View attachment 773360
