I want to make a cover for a silencer and asbestos cloth sure seems like the way to go. How dumb am I? Is customs going to steal my Chinese asbestos? Will me or a loved one be entitled to compensation? Anyone want to get in on a mesothelioma group buy?

Why not go with Refrain cloth?

If it's good enough to be used as furnace curtains, removable insulation blankets, welding cloth, personnel protection and heat shielding, it's good enough for this.

Eh it's risks at a user level are rather low. Doing brakes or a clutch job is going to gather more exposure.

your lungs your choice. with the materials currently on the market that are non asbestos it is quite silly to go with asbestos.

I had $40,000 worth of unpaid/never paid invoices from Owens Corning about twenty years ago due to asbestos claims that pushed them into Chapter 11 bankruptcy while the invoices were still payable.

Hey! If I come to you house you will appreciate it if I sit to pee. Since that kidney stone got stuck at the end of the pipe and they had to rip it out when I pee it is like a shotgun blast instead of a precision rifle strike.

I may laugh at what you said but I am not laughing at you. Its hell getting old and the person who laughs at another person's misfortune will soon be plagued by the same miserable condition.... You have my sympathy after seeing the toughest man I know be brought to his knees in agony and beg for mercy by a kidney stone. We are talking a man who cut off the end of a finger to where bone was showing and he slapped some duck tape on it and chuckled about how he has shit to do an no time to deal with drs.
