but seem to have assembled a small collection over the last few years.

blades.jpg

Top to bottom- my EDC Kershaw, a Mora I picked up for field stripping deer (gutted 6 of 'em, 'fore I had the blade sharpened & that just because), a cute little thing I picked up just 'cos I thought it was neat, an @RR forged beauty, a beast made for me by an old Army buddy & a lovely Bark River Smoke Jumper I was recently gifted by my brother from another mother.

I carry a very similar Kershaw daily. I don't recall the model name.

I really like that one on the right, 2nd from the top. Good looking blade.

I’ve got the same exact Kershaw. Great knife and great value as well. Very durable blade.

Nice collection!

I have accumulated a pretty decent little collection myself, this thread has made me want to fetch em all out soon for a photo.

My main issue with my love of knives is, well, I don’t ever use em. I work for a bank, from home. I get to hunt/camp maybe once a year. I have a small yard, so no major daily/weekly projects. A multi-tool is my edc and gets used relatively often. But all my really cool things that make me want to go off and live like a mountain man just sit there...laughing at me and my suburbanite self.

That's an @RR build from about 5 years ago. It IS a nice blade. Can't quite recall why I sold it other than I sit at a desk instead of doing manly things that require cutting stuff.

Glad you did, though. I rarely have actual need of a knife, but danged if I don't enjoy looking at 'em & fondling them.

I like knives a lot.
But a nice pocket knife does everything I need in reality. Have a couple Moras, a few CRKT fixed blades, but they don’t see much use.
But I have 5-6 benchmark folders that serve me well. For my use, my auto CLA is the perfect knife. I love it dearly. Got it from our favorite knife sensei: thrillhill.

I do have a very fine Blackjack Randall style. It’s gorgeous and took a few years to swindle it off Studentofthegun.
It just sits in a drawer looking pretty.

When I hit the lottery I’ll buy whatever Randall’s BoBilly hasn’t snapped up!

Just seems like lately we've been on a cutlery kick lately. Missus commissioned a very nice RR hunting blade for our nephew & I've got something nice being made for her.

Crap, I forgot about a pretty nice karambit I have & my MIL bought me a nice knife for Christmas that hasn't arrived yet. Lol! Maybe I am turning into a knife guy after all? 😆

As if custom 6 guns & nice leather weren't already costing me enough monies. Lol!

Took this pic a couple of years ago, know there are a couple missing including a Kershaw Tanto

Nothing high-end.

Top to bottom

Old Hickory butcher (modded to a Kephart)
Old Hickory parer (modded as companion)
Older Buck 119
2 - modded ESSE 4’s
Benchmade Adamas (EDC)
TOPS Scandi 2.5 Rockies Edition
Case Blue Bone
Buck 703 (first knife my Dad gave me when I was a kid)

If the weather sucks bad enough next week maybe I’ll hunt down all the knives. My guess is it will be embarrassing since I probably only use about 1/2 of them On a regular basis. But one is never far.

I used to not be a knife person until I bought a decent knife.... which led to several pocket knives, a few fixed blades and a good set of kitchen knives. I totally appreciate the convex grind.......wish I would find an affordable folder with that grind.

I'm liking the parer.

I've got one of those Kershaw folders that I carry, but the clip lost a screw. I asked Kershaw about a replacement via their web site, but they never responded. Where can I get one or two?

Nice looking collection. A vintage Buck is hard to beat.

I guess I'm a "knife guy". I started thinking about them and probably have a hundred or more. It would take me a long time to put them all together.

I don't think I could get all of mine in one place. It would take me the better part of the afternoon just to round up the Moras and Esses.

Two of my favorite Kershaws. Top is a Cryo. Not sure of the steel but probably something like 8CrMov13 or the like. It's an inexpensive model.

Bottom is a blur in S30v. Love the recurve of the Blur

I was wrong. It took me from 830 this morning until just now to find all the ESSEs. I had an elusive 3 that I just now found.

I'm not even gonna attempt to get all the Moras in one pic.

I got 2 Mora's for Christmas. A curved spoon carver and a straight carver. Made a leather sheath for the straight carver today since it came with a cheap plastic one.
