I am not saying this to receive recommendations but I have not been impressed by a firearm in a while. When I say impressed I mean intrigued enough to buy it. Anything new that is. There hasn’t been a gun in about two years that released that has made me want to buy it other than the hellcat pro and I can not see paying $600 for it because it’s just another semi auto 9 with a slide cut for a red dot and I already have two of those. Has anyone else felt this way? What firearm got you back into buying?

I consider myself more of a shooter than a Gun Guy, but I've been enjoying playing with glock clones, mixing and matching, trying different set ups with components from Glock, PSA, cmc, Grey ghost, etc.

Otherwise, yeah everything is basically same same but different.

If you already have a good supply of handguns, maybe get out and take some classes, shoot some matches, or even go down the NFA rabbit hole if you haven't already. If you've done all of that, maybe check out night vision or something else?

Bought a Springfield Prodigy right after they came out. It needed to go back to SA to have a few wrinkles ironed out, but I’ve been real happy with it as a match blaster. Beyond that, there’s nothing else that seems to get my attention either.

The poly wonder 9 market is extremely oversaturated. There's nothing new or exciting coming from it, nor will there ever be. It's always going to be metal slide, poly frame, striker fired. Or, if the manufacturer is really adventurous, DA/SA. They all do the same thing, they all feel about the same in the hand, there aren't too many that are downright bad but there aren't any that are exciting either. It's going to take something really innovative to shake things up and the big companies aren't into adventure, they are into copying designs copied from designs, or if you are S&W, copying Keltec's catalog. Keltec might be the only company to be trying really off the wall stuff right now. Maybe not innovative, maybe not ground breaking, but at least adventurous.

I cannot say that there has been a specific gun that came out that I just had to have. However, I have been intrigued with the 6ARC. So I’ve bought a bolt gun to play around with and see how I like the cartridge.

hardware hasn't gotten me excited in a while. New match venues and match concepts keep my juices flowing.

hardware...man, REALLY want the newish Kestrel shot timer and a Garmin chrono.

That new titanium driver that puts you 10 yards further out,....into the woods... Yea I don't need that.

Skillz development are (is?) be where it's at.

But the guy that collects and never fires a single round is still a gun guy in my eyes.

I'm still waiting for the HK micro gun. I think that's going to be exciting...for about 5 minutes after I bring it home and buy a holster and a few spare magazines.
