In Virginia now

Can’t seem to find much on fb, no surprise they’re suppressing content.
Also no surprise YT is suppressing content as well. Both Kali kommies.

I’ll be following this thread today for updates.

I wonder how many people around the globe are watching this event? As I understand it, it has become known world wide.

I'd really like to see an overhead pic. I'd like to know how many are venturing inside the kill zone if any vs how many are staying outside and perhaps gathering somewhere nearby. Anyone have any related info?

Getting close

Breitbart is randomly picking people to speak with, and they have had some really good spokespersons so far. All the Antifa/Soros people are still asleep, so I am sure it will get a little more exciting this afternoon after they get their continental breakfast and latte's in them.

Looking at the streams, seems to be a ton of people showed up.

Truck convoy cam by blasting horn. Big cheers from crowd

Good old reliable WRAL...

RICHMOND, VA. - Gun-rights activists — some making deliberate displays of their military-style rifles — began to descend on Virginia's capital city Monday to protest plans by the state's Democratic leadership to pass gun-control legislation.

Several thousand activists — mostly white and male, many clothed in camouflage and waving flags with messages of support for President Donald Trump — appeared hours before the 11 a.m. rally was set to begin.

If that is all they are doing, would they be exempt from the FAA no fly order?

They flew yesterday so I don’t know.

here is an article on what they do...sorry had to find it again.

that being said, THIS is the aerial surveillance plane over Richmond. It’s a Cessna 182 Turbo owner bg Henrico County. It can not be tracked on FlightAware or FlightRadar24 but ADSB Exchange shows military and otherwise hidden aircraft 350C67E3-9710-4AED-A0FD-F1841BB49D20.jpeg

Ok - legitimate question:

The DEMS know they control the state legislature. They could ignore this 100% and push forward their agenda. What's the real, tangible gain?

I don't see them changing their minds about jack, just because a bunch of people are standing around and yelling stuff.

They are emboldened by their handlers and know all they have to do is ride this out. Then, it's business as usual.

They will ignore it. It's what they do.
Whereas they should be taking it as a warning. When you have 100,000 give or take people showing up to protest your proposed "laws" you should be taking note that what you're trying to do is not popular or wanted. The should get the message loud and clear that gun owners and those that take their 2nd-A enshrined rights seriously are not a minuscule subset of the population. If you can stand to read on their blogs they think it's a very few people who own all the guns and that the general populace overwhelmingly supports their BS, or as they call it "common sense gun safety legislation".

The last time the Dems pushed gun restriction, at least at the federal level, they lost the House for 20 years.

Undoubtedly they will ignore it and push forward. If they're lucky the result will be people ignoring their stupid "laws", refusing to comply, and then they will get booted from office during the next election. If they're unlikely, well their political careers might be really short given the number of people they're seriously pissing off.

Calling out all the characteristics they dislike. Imagine the media listing a bunch of "protected" characteristics about any other kind of crowd...

No, I can't either.

Just met a coworker for coffee and he asked me what my thoughts were about this.
I said something similiar
Gov gonna gov.
The guy pushing for these laws, and the people backing him, arent going to change their tune when they see those folks outside.

Hopefully to drum up support to impeach/remove the governor or whatever peaceful resolution would preserve 2A rights. Otherwise hopefully to at least put just a smidgen of doubt/fear in their elitist asses. Justice doesn't always come from within the law.
