So.....I used to ride sportbikes when I was younger. I sold my last one, an 05 Triumph Daytona 650, about 10 years ago. I have only ridden 3 times since, all buddy's bikes. The itch has always been there, just didn't want to scratch it.......until about 3 months ago. One of my closest friends came home with a 2010 HD 883 Iron. Needless to say, the itch got real bad. Then I couldn't decide between sportbike or cruiser. I went to the local HD dealer friday just to kick some tires and weigh my options. I had no real intention on making a purchase. By the time I left, I had applied for financing on a newish bike, a 2017 Sportster 1200 Forty-Eight. In about 30 minutes I'll be picking it up. As I stated, it's newish. Only has 268 miles on it. By the time we got done crunching numbers, I got the bike, Vnace and Hines Big Radius pipes, stage 1 filter/housing, and a tune for the MSRP of the bike. I'm so excited. Aside from shooting and firefighting, motorcycling jas been my only real escape ver the years. I'm ready to put the miles on it.
