So I don’t th8nk that this is cool, but I also don’t get the sheriff saying that he’s investigating it as a hate crime. It seems that he’s guessing at the first part, and entirely lacking the second. This was probably the guys way of flipping off the local ordnance requiring face coverings.

Back in 1968 I lived in NYC Brooklyn, my cousin showed me his Halloween costume, he was going out as a KKK member. My aunt made it for him, she thought it was funny.
