To drive 2 hrs to go to a Rural King store. Closest to me is Martensville , VA. Always wanted to go and check one out. There is one in Morgantown but that’s a stretch for me.
Weird, back when they still had guns I've checked them out in several occasions and never been asked for IDNot worth a 2 hour drive, unless you have other shops (LGS) to visit along the way. About what NCLivingBrit spoke of, and they also required you to give them your ID, to hold a firearm when I visited. Not me.

LoL They do have a gunshop at the one in Garner. Not sure where you're at, but Monroe NC has a newer Agri Supply. I bought a tool box for my truck there, and went back and bought $2400 implement for my tractor because of the excellent customer service I received on the tool box purchase. They have a lot of stuff, but no guns.

I think the Gun shop closed that was in there unless it’s in a different part of the store now.LoL They do have a gunshop at the one in Garner.

Martinsville and carnitas tacos are closer. 😎Love taking a day trip with wifey to RK in Martinsville then going Danville and getting a greasy cheeseburger and fries at Mama Possums and taking it to Dan River Park And enjoy the rest of the day.
@dman24 said it was possibly gone. I didn't realize it but its been a year since I was in the store. Used to be when you walked in turn left and it was 3/4 of the way back on the left.Agri Supply?
Yeah I forgot about the livestock folks. I was tempted to buy a tiny pig one time. Just because lolI just went to the one in Morganton this morning with my daughter.
There were 'vendors' setting up tents with cages of ducks, pigs, goats, rabbits, chickens, and even some german Shepard puppies in the parking lot. Apparently they do it every weekend. We had a lot of fun looking at the critters and I hate that we live somewhere we can't have any.
I like it. They had a nice selection of long guns, maybe two dozen pistols, and cases of ammunition at prices I'd rather not pay.
Did I mention they have free popcorn when you come in? Oh yes.
