Is the PrimePocalypse over?

It would be interesting to know how much of the pricing is the manufacture and how much is the retailer markup.

There is also the wholesaler/distributor level. During the pandemic shortages, a lot of the price increases in everything were due to wholesaler price increases.

Ah yes, the middle man. I think they normally get the largest slice of the pie. I doubt we will ever see the domestic suppliers at less than six cents each.

Before having to look at all the links and crap, can someone tell me that LRP are available at a decent price? If not, please be quiet because we are not out of the woods yet.

Monday I bought CCI #400 SRP at Brownells for 7.2 CPR. Until that's a 'normal' price, the Primepocalypse isn't over, but we're getting there.

749009265#400 SMALL RIFLE PRIMERS 1,000/BOXIn Stock71.99
What did it work out to after shipping? Local GS has plenty on the shelf but for 99.99 per K. I will stop shooting before I pay those prices. I still believe scalpers added to these prices. Sometimes we are our worst enemy, I hope the scalpers choke on those primers.

Powder valley has Winchester 41’s for 5,56 on sale for $74.99/1000.

Edit: was already posted.

Someone school me on Fiocchi primers. LRP’s and SRP’s. Any good?

Fuquay Gun and Gold has lots of Remington primers on the shelf for $79.95 and a fair selection of powder also. The primers have been there for a week so they either have a lot in the back room or interest in hoarding primers is waning,

The republicans are working hard to blow the next election, I expect D’s across the board, so I don’t expect it to end any time soon. Ammo will be going back up as soon as we all figure out that Trump can’t win hut he can damn sure guarantee that R’s will lose

I always enjoy reading comments from National Review's editorial staff! ;)

Norma sent me a email advertising 2000 spp for 120.00, however link doesn’t agree with the email and on their site they have SA spp at 64.99/1000

still encouraging to see some vendors lower their prices

2000 gets you free shipping

Locally the supply is improving a bit. A few months ago Sportsman Warehouse had a limit of 200 primers or a single 150 ct tray of Fiocchi per day with SPP the only flavor available.

Now they've got SPP & SRP plus Magnum SP with a 1000 ct limit or 900 of the Fiocchi stuff. I'm buying a few here and there at 6.6 cents for SRP and 5.9 cents for the SPP.

Powders along with 22LR ammo inventory is much better also, although their powder prices are still a bit steep.

ETA: They have some CCI #41 SRP in stock now.
