I don't think Gunbelt is on much anymore, so I thought I'd check.
My brother reached out to me, wanted to get a holster for his Walther P99 to put it in and keep in a backpack in his truck.
I'd rather support someone local, so didn't know if there is anyone y'all recommend?

Yea, those guys ^^^^

The kydex I own came from RR. And a whole bunch of leather from Chief Jason.

But unless RR has one ready, you’re not gonna get one for 6 months…

you know... if he wanted to upgrade from that p99 to something more modern... he might be able to sell it on here...
for real though, the pdps are better guns and can be found for around 500. some of the p99 models (depending on caliber and generation) go for above that to those idiots who just need to collect the whole set
it's not a QA or gen 1 9mm, is it?

If he's going to store it in a holster in a backpack in a vehicle it's going to be subject to high humidity/moisture, at least if he's anywhere around here. I think I'd go with Kydex to keep any moisture laden fabrics/items from contacting the metal surfaces. I don't know if leather would protect or actually hurt in this scenario.

Leather will hurt it if you don't wipe the gun down every so often
