I am looking for a J-frame pancake holster. I shoot J-frames well and am looking to wear mine on a more regular basis through the winter. I pocket carried mine in summer weight chinos without a problem. With the colder weather, I have been wearing more wool slacks and corduroy. Slash pockets in the slacks and tight pockets on the cords have forced me to downsize to a P-32. It happens every year.
I hate wearing a revolver IWB, and I would like to avoid carrying a duty-sized handgun. Sport coats and sweaters make OWB concealment a good option with a short barreled handgun.
I wanted to check here for LOCAL makers or companies. I would love to do business with someone in N.C. or S.C., especially a forum member. So, if anyone has had a good experience with a Carolina-based leather shop, please chime in!
I am looking for a basic 4 o’clock 15-20 degree open-top holster with loops for a 1.5” reinforced gunbelt. Nothing exciting!
If someone also happens to know of a local maker making HKS 36-A or Safariland Comp I compatible pouches, that would be cool, too!
