Just in case you needed more 5.7 handguns, PSA delivers

A friend of mine has been into 5.7 for a few years. One of the fun things about it in a pistol is how easy it is to shoot at 100+ yards. This being optic ready is huge in my opinion. I don't know why I need a varmint pistol but I'm pretty sure I do need one.

A 5.7 is loud and obviously supersonic. Serious question: What would putting a suppressor on it do? Wouldn't the report/decibel level still require you to use ear protection?

Same with .223/5.56; I know plenty of people and a few friends that have them, but what are you getting suppressing a .223 if you still have to wear ear pro?

I ask because I have both .22 and .30 caliber cans, but I can shoot subs out of them with no ear pro.

Is imagine it would tame it down to probably 22WMR level maybe?

Because 135-145dB is a lot quieter than 165-170dB…and the sound is heading downrange.

It means I shoot with just plugs in, instead of plugs under muffs.
