Justin Carter ... Shot ... in the eye.

Now I know why I never heard of him. People really need to be careful with guns. I feel sorry for his family.

Sitting here at the orthodontist with my daughter trying to figure out how you shoot yourself in the eye with a gun in your pocket.

mouse gun, no holster, stick hand in pocket and *bang*
?

Yeah, I guess you have a small 380 in your pocket, stick your hands in your pocket and the gun has turned around up and your finger engages the trigger.

Nope. Mom said it just "went off".

Carters' mother, Cindy McClellan, told Fox News her son was filming a music video in Houston, Texas, on Saturday when a gun in his pocket "went off and caught my son in the corner of his eye."

Seems like Justin Carter shot himself in the eye.

Shirt/vest pocket?

Well, there was that woman who shot herself in the mouth while her hands were handcuffed behind he back.

Hell Fox even says the gun acted on its own.
Then it must have been a Glock.

I remember one story from a deputy that had a gun go off in the office and swore the gun was just sitting on his desk and it "just went off". I'm sure he wasn't goofing with it or anything. It was a Glock.

Sorry for the family and the singer too. I'm not implying he was goofing with the gun, but suspect it was an unholstered gun in the pocket and some sort of accidental trigger contact.

No clue who this guy is but there are not total package country singers left.

They exist, just not on corporate radio. You gotta look for them. Can't place any of this guys stuff though.
