Anybody on here planning on picking up one of the new kp-15 lowers? Or already have one?

Looks like there are a decent amount of black one out there now.

I got in on the pre order but I got an fde one so I'm still waiting. "supposedly" it's about a month out. Starting to get excited. I've got an anorexic poverty upper waiting.

I'm waffling.

I have a DD complete upper I bought, I think from Amnesia awhile back. I dunno if the lighter weight would make the balance weird.

But I kinda want to save up and get the complete WWSD2020 rifle, because Ian and Carl at InRange get a kickback if you buy the complete rifle, but not the lower.

If I could afford to buy the whole wwsd rifle I would love to help support them. It's atleast double what I normally spend on a gun though. I have really enjoyed the series.

I'm just going to use a 16" pencil profile psa upper that I've had for a few years.

I just ordered 4 more aero lowers...
If I decide I want an a1 type stock, I'll put one on.
I don't see the sense in paying extra to be locked into one config on a rifle meant to be modular.

I actually just finished an aero lower with a fixed stock. It is HEAVY. I meant for it to be as it's for a rifle I plan on bench shooting most of the time. The whole point of the kp-15 is weight though.

If you factor in the cost of all the other parts to finnish out a lower I thought the price was pretty fair. I don't think I would call it "paying extra" to each his own though. I'm excited about it.
