I put that post up years ago (hard to believe), and now I take whatever wipes happen to be in the house, stuff some in a big pill bottle, and shove that in the range bag! LoL. They might be the lead-specific ones, or they might not be. I kind of quit thinking about lead as much as I used to.

Wanted to add that everyone who shoots needs these wipes in their eange bag.

If you have a high lead count already then you should be taking daily Milk Thistle. Over time that will help to eliminate lead from the body.

If your lead count is over 10 then there are a couple things to do. First buy bentonite clay. Liquid bentonite clay will bind to lead and flush out when you use the bathroom.

Also consider some type of Liver Detox formula, available in pills or tea. It will probably have Milk Thistle in it. There are many types of liver detox available so shop around. Lead accumulates in the liver and this will be the easiest place to start.

It takes a long time to remove lead from the body with natural means...this is mot a 1 month anf done deal. Do the anove and then check your levels again in 6 months. And don't forget, leaf accumulates, it doesn't leave your body on its own.

We should probably come up with a sticky or something for this.

I think about lead all the time. Where I can get it for free/cheap, what it's BHN is, and whether or not grandma's pewter plates have enough tin content to help me harden up that roofing lead I just scored.

Lead is Galena, the silver queen of all things that go BANG

Some ranges I've been to have hand sanitizer that removes lead...never used it. Just wash your hands if you're concerned and you'll be good to go. I've been through training sessions where we spent 2-3 thousand rounds in a day, per person, and never did anything more than wash our hands/forearms and do laundry.
