Lens pen for glasses

I hate to clean my glasses and seem to scratch them no matter what I do. Anyone have any good reasons why I can’t use a lens pen for optics to clean my glasses? Thanks!

No reason, but then I'm no fan of lens pen, never work well for me.
For glasses, either zeiss premoistened wipes or alcohol spray and an old tee shirt.

I have a yellow tint on my prescription shooting glasses. I just use a microfiber cleaning cloth. I have used other methods before but had to have the lenses recoated because of very small scratches and wipe abrasions. Use these on my regular glasses and sun glasses as well. It was highly recommend by my optometrist after the repair.

A little dish soap, like Dawn, and warm water, for major cleanings. Microfiber cloths in between or cloth. Never use any sort of paper product. Paper towels, toilet paper, etc. will scratch plastic, due to their actual hardness level.
