The Wife threwIMG_20231119_173802152.jpg this in the shopping cart the other day, I knew it was going to be bad but I didn't know HOW bad. Her and I have already been kinda fighting all day about what she was buying and I just gave up. This stuff is horrible and after cooking it, she agreed. Its nothing but high priced dog food. Tastes horrible and tough, stringy and just a waste of money. Its packaged to appeal to the uninformed as a I guess quick meal for masses?
 
Yea I've bought it too and for the price it is mehhh. I've had better and worse but for cost-for-taste ratio at $9 a pound, its not on the rebuy list.

Greenville just got a Chef Store, and I bought a 10lb box of philly steak (actual steak and not the chopped up crap) in 6oz portions and cooked some for dinner tonight and it had a better texture and beef flavor than that "brisket". I divided the 10lb box into 8, 1.2 lb servings (3, 6oz groups) and 3, 6oz single serve for a quick lunch. With the coupon I had it worked out to be $4 per dinner for protein for the 3 of us. Cheese steaks, Korean bulgogi bbq, Japanese, or Mexican.
