Reply quotes that one post. +Quote will let you click on multiple posts, and each time you get this:

And then when you have all of them and come down to type you have a new option:

This is instead of clicking Reply, then having to scroll back up to find another post and hit Reply.
 
If you hit “reply” in the Politics sub-forum, and write “That is ridiculous, and you are stupid.” no one will be entirely sure who you were talking to, but if you hit “quote” and write the same thing there will be no question.
