Lyman cast bullet handbook. Use the hp data with oal about 1.12”
ETA: this is from the 9mm Luger section BTW. I load a LOT of 9mm LRN with coated bullets. 1.12-1.13" seems to be the sweet spot for making them work in everything. Just make sure they pass the plunk test and go with it.

Damn, I looked right at that page and did not see it. Thank you. Now I need to wake the heck up. They are coated bullets. Just got them in yesterday from Summers Enterprise. I always do the plunk test. I learned the hard way on that one. :)

The key to using coated bullets is lots of flare, no crimp. You have to be sure you are not disturbing the coating at any point. Flare way more than you would for jacketed, and use your crimp die *just* enough to press case straight again at the mouth.

Oh wow. I guess I did not realize how tired I was last night when I was looking for the data. @Mike Overlay I just went to the Hodgdon reloading page again and put in the info like I did last night. The same info came up. This time though I scrolled all the way down the page and gee what did I see the info I was looking for.

Thanks everyone for your help!!!
