Measuring draw length
First way
Back against a wall
Measure tip to tip(fingers)
Minus 15
Then divide by 2
Second way
Have a tape measurer for end held against your chest
Reach out and tip of fingers is the measurement

Both of these are within a 1/4 inch, I’m not a big guy 5foot 7inch, but that means my draw length is 25.5 to 26. I’m fine with that, it just means I’m going to but my self a nice used your bow for a lot less lol.

I get in proper draw stance , arm stretched out . Point thumb at target.
From tip of thumb to anchor point on cheek. Measure.
If you have a tape measure. Hook the tip to your thumb. Hold tape measure in other hand with tape between index and middle finger. Hit anchor point. Pinch the tape and read measurement.
If using a release knock off its length.

Last week, two different young ladies from the Farm asked if they could come to Trouble Ranch and learn to choot traditional archery. 🙂

I'll measure their draw length (same way as Mirac) just so they will know, should they get their own bow.

They won't be using a "release", an' I'll teach 'em instinctive from the get go.
