The Unseen Realm by Dr Michael Heiser. He did an outstanding video that is on youtube. It’s long, but very captivating.

The book is a deep dive. Took me two weeks to plow through it.

That news clip has got to be one of the weirdest stream of conciousness I have ever seen.

I got it from YouTube and the censorship there is insane, so the poster had to color out the word "babies"...cause that's wrong to talk about sacrificing babies to Baal or satan....but you better let women murder babies via abortion......

The movie NEFARIOUS slips in an interesting bit about how there were beings of spirit that existed before God was revealed to them as the maker of things. And that humans were made to worship because the opposition beings rebelled. I assume, based on how dead on that movie was for stuff, that wasn't something they made up for the film. I need to look into the references they used in writing that script.

growing up, when i asked about things that i didn't understand, she didn't understand, or generally aren't understood, my mom would sometimes say "In the beginning, God created the HEAVENS and the earth" as a way of reminding me that we aren't given all the information that's out there.

Also mentioned in NEFARIOUS. There isn't an altar anymore, and the priests who do the sacrificing wear surgical scrubs now. But the child is still incinerated, and the angels weep while all of hell rejoices.

Dr Heiser’s book does not deviate from scripture. He just delineates some of the beings in His divine counsel and explains them according to both scripture and other relevant ancient texts, in ways that most of us have not heard before.

Let’s just say, that He was/is not happy with some of them. Baal being one.
