Mark 7 has stepped up

I see this as marketed more twards a pro shooter or a small business.
If I shot 100 meaningful correct rounds each day, x5 days a week, I could still easily keep up with my ammo needs on a Dillon progressive.

Most folks shoot 2 or 3 matches a month @ 200 rds per match, plus practice.
So around 1000rds a month.
I can load 500 rds on my square deal in 2 hrs, with breaks to fill primer tubes.

I'm just not seeing where it would suit the average USPSA nerd.
However, if the goal was to load 10k rds at a time, then I can see its value, but the initial investment makes me take pause.

Very slick. But as Slacker pointed out, complete overkill for 99.99% of us.

Out of my price range I think.

But if it weren't I'd buy one. I can load and increase my post count (and bag on grocks and PCC's) at the same time!

You are precisely right and I agree that very few who purchase these can justify it from a cost perspective (and I will not be among them even though I would like to be, but then I am still in Step 1: denial)

I was in Decatur, AL this week driving the belt line back to my hotel and I saw this car that I did not recognize. I finally caught it a stop light. It was a new MacLaren 540C, with a driver older than I am. After pondering the foolishness of driving such a car in a place where any traffic accident is likely to involve a late model Ford F150 or Dodge Ram that is not insured enough to cover the paint job, and that he could only got to experience the car's capability up to 45 mph, I figured, good for him. He's a car guy, obviously, and has his dream car. Cool.

I don't have the pocketbook for it, and wouldn't buy a MacLaren even if I did, but a Mark 7???? hmmmmm.

... and the justification begins.

I wish I could shoot enough to justify getting something like that, but my little T-7 and Lock-N-Load AP do just fine.

HOWEVER...

That is the first video I've seen that actually had a guy up front that deserved to be up front. Knows his product and was completely able to convey the message. Very refreshing compared to the others that have been posted.

I couldn’t get past the less than stellar audio and the fact that vertical camera syndrome is a real thing but yet people still do it....
I lost interest in the actual product pretty quickly knowing I would never need it, but it was extremely refreshing hearing about a product in such a clear and concise manner.

If y0u can justify the $1900 for a Dillon super 1050, what's another $600 bucks for what looks to be a much higher quality machine that has all kinds of easy to add options. If I was on the verge of placing an order with Dillon and saw this I would definitely give it much consideration. Looks like Mark 7 is making the move from enhancing Dillon products to replacing them all together.

I know I will never need a press like this, heck, I do just fine loading on a couple second hand Loadmasters, but as an avid reloader I do enjoy seeing innovation and new products introduced to one of my favorite hobbies. Also, competition is a good thing, Dillon hasn't had much in a while, maybe just maybe this will get them looking into some new designs and products.

The mark7 includes the bullet feeder. So price is about a wash.
