Just ordered my 1st 10 day fast kit and going to do both 10 day challenges back to back....tipped the scale last night @ 229.....I refuse to pass 230 in my current shape (to much round in the middle)
Anyone here done them or have any experience with them?

I think things like that are great to try to drop weight, fast, but don't work for the long run.

When I was in the Navy, an officer, I had a pretty soft job. No PT. I had to attend a school, and in the school they do a height/weight/body fat on day 1. About 5 weeks out , realizing my uniform was a wee tight, I got on the scale. I was about 12-15 pounds over where I needed to be. I did something like this (basically same thing, different company) and lost 20 pounds in 30 days. Second week in the school, I gained about 10 back but was moving more and eating better.

Do it to drop weight, fast, then get into a sensible eating plan and exercise routine.

That is the plan do the two 10 day challenges and get my $ back but also do a "reset" and get back into a better mind set/healthy diet etc.

I think that's a fine idea. I think people get the best overall success when they do things like this to "shock" and have a rapid weight loss/reset, then start over by good diet and exercise. Diet os far more important in weight loss than exercise, but exercise, along with a million other reasons, helps maintain the weight loss.

Good luck! Post your progress!

Day 1
231.4 lbs
Greens taste much better than they smell...smell like Timothy hay! They are very filling and seem to be a good appetite suppression.

Day 2
224 lbs.
Yesterday was hard had a few moments but overall wasn't horrible. I had two of the smashing greens and one recovery after working in the sun all day. Also drank over 160 oz of water.

Are you posting a 7lbs loss in one 24 hour period?

Make sure you are staying up on your nutrition and electrolytes so you don't get hyponatremic.

Man, you're killing it. Great job!

Keep it up man!
That is awesome!
Maybe Try downloading some motivational podcasts like David Goggins on JRE

(His words) I was a fat (297 lb) loser.
I decided not to be that anymore.
What’s the hardest thing I can be? A Navy SEAL.
So he just decided, lost over 100 lbs in 3 months by working out 8 hours a day and eating nothing but fruit.
Joined the navy.
Went ago BUD/S, had to do hell week 3 times, but graduated and became a SEAL.
Now runs 100 mile plus ultra races

Day 3
221.6
Had some hunger pains lol but pounded more water and suppressed it! So far things are going great I can tell a huge difference in belly bloat....my energy levels are good...some report getting what is referred to as Keto flu....it's the same as a mild flu symptoms. I also didn't have this happen when we tried keto.

You can also try adding exogenous ketones.
For energy and to force your body to burn more fat.
I used to have to chug hemp oil and avocado oil to get enough fat to eat keto...

Also
Look at the hunger pains like you would as soreness from a strong workout.
Many people feel them and immediately eat.
Instead, focus on the pain, learn to enjoy the issue

Not to derail....

Goggins is indeed a bad ass, and his story is inspirational, but he is such an outlier and 99.5% of the population cannot do what he did. But his perspectives on mental discipline and attitude are spot on.
I agree.
I just find him inspiring.
And when I am having a pity party, or really sore or unmotivated, I hear his raspy voice yelling “One more rep bitch! Get up Sucker! “ that kind of thing...

14 pounds in 5 days, so about 3ish pounds a day. Good job!

What is your maintenance plan for when this is over?
I'm going to maintain a low carb diet then do the next 10 day challenge after 5 or so days off....after that my goal weight is 185. Then I'll maintain a low carb diet and get back to killing myself with sand bags lol

Sounds like a reasonable plan. Funny you should mention sandbags, I can't believe how expensive those damn things are if you buy one from Goruck, Rogue, or one of those companies. I'm going to just make my own.

Might do this to help drop some weight ahead of a Spartan race in May that I have been supremely unmotivated for. Do the first challenge before, then the second challenge after

Day 7
214.2 down a total of 17.2lbs....yesterday was tough....I had a patriot guard escort for a WWII KIA that was listed a MIA for 79 years. Left the house with two bottles of water had a cup of coffee got back after 3. I was dehydrated and hungry.

Day # 8
213.8
I was driving alot yesterday with little to no physical activity and it shows in the minimal loss.

I’m going to place an order this afternoon. I’ll give one of the 10 day programs a shot and hopefully it’ll boost my weight loss. I yo-yo up and down about 40 pounds every couple of years. March 1 will be go time for me if it gets here in time!
