I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Highest recommendation from me.
Jan Zizka is one of the all time badasses of history, and singularly ended medival tactical combat. His innovations in combat made the Mongolian horse combat and European knight calvary charge obsolete.

If you know the history...the history timeline is a little off,, and some of the facts are advanced forward a couple of decades so an interesting historical story could be told. If you know medieval history, and I do, this timeline issue is a little off putting, but overlook it. The movie is fantastic.

Be forewarned...this movie is named right...it is extremely violent and bloody. Extremely!

My wife and I just finished this. The movie was good, but nothing can ever be long enough to do Zizka justice. The main actor has come a long way from being the skinny pierced guy in the 2000's Punisher movie.
