Misunderstood youth

Only gonna get worse. Watching videos of felons walking away from stores in California with backpacks full of merchandise should be a warning. This behavior will spread unless there is a powerful deterrent.

That said, I'm not sure the extended mag is legal for the LAP (loot and pillage) division in IDPA.
 
The best investment I've made in upgrading my home was a comprehensive alarm system. My wife and I both use it religiously, even if just hopping in the shower.

I don't have grand delusions of the police sweeping in to catch the bad guy, but it will let us know if someone comes into the home when they shouldn't.
 
This has been happening all around Burlington recently. In our neighborhood they seemed to skip over any house with visible cameras even if it was just a doorbell camera.

Side note:
We have a cabin in Morganton on 20 ac. Guy beside us has same. Last month we lost a saw “ not in lock area “ not my saw lol. Guy beside lost at genny on Thursday. He stay in camp Friday. Crook comes back for more. He catches him coming up drive way with pry bar and bolt cutters. Hold him at gun point for wife to call cops.
Guy is out on $5000 bond in less than 12 hrs…

I don’t know what happened to his ear officer. He was missing that one when I fist saw him.

With 40 acres available, I would think he could have done something other than call the people who are going to turn him lose.
 
Misunderstood? Oh I understand him and his ilk just fine. Thats why I carry a 45 and have a 12 gage readily available in the house. And I've been locking them up as fast as I can for over two decades.

Him and those like him will have a zero recidivism rate should they pop in here. ;)

During the recent troubles here, Max heard the sirens. Wife took him inside. He didn't bark, but stood beside the wife the entire time. He knew something wasn't right and was on point for the entire time.

i was a good boy and had some wrong friends. I definitely could have been shot for some of the stuff we did. when i was hoping to not get shot was about the same time my dad's words "chose your friends wisely" started playing on loop in my brain.
If somebody had shot me for what we were doing, my dad would have apologized to them and say he thought he raised me better.
