Motorcycle picture thread.

This was the line-up when I was extending my shop. That line-up has changed. The yellow one now belongs to Lager, the GoldWing is gone, and there are a few additions.

This is my favorite, The Beast. She originally was a 98 Honda Valkyrie.

She made an International Calendar.

The Beasts big brother, a 2014 Valkyrie, basically a Goldwing drivetrain, minus several hundred pounds of stuff, in a sportier frame, and the trans is geared different. He is a Beast.

This one is my FatBoy, been a work-in-progress for several years, but life kept getting in the way. He's about done, all together, starts, runs and drives, just got a couple of electrical Gremlins I need to fix. I plan to be riding this one this spring.

Then we got the old ShovelHead, a 70s drivetrain in a custom frame. After the FatBoy is done, this one is gonna get a teardown and cleaning/re-painting. Get, or make, a new seat that looks better. I also want to throw a Springer on it.

Then I got a Dyna Wide Glide, 2012. Really nice bike. It has 5500 miles and runs and rides great. But it just doesn't fit me. I've tried new bars, seat, footpegs, all sorts of stuff. Just can't get comfy on it. I want to sell this one, or trade for a Sport Tourer type of bike, Like a FJR or Beemer.

Riding with my best friend in ‘85. We lost him to cancer a year later. He’s on the ironhead. And my old man standing in the shadows ten years later.

But! In happier times, eleven years previous, I switched from dirt to street with this deathtrap.

Out of all your bikes I really like the 14 Valk. I've had 2 Wings with the 1800 engine, loved the engine but didn't like the Wing due to its excessive weight and physical size.

The 2 valks are my favorites. The 14 is the muscle car of motorcycles, it is a brute, but handles like a dream.

How’d she like the new foot boards?
Game changer for her. I don't like them but she does so they stay. Like @Mike79 stated, I wrack my calves on them backing up. We are working on a process. Watching her struggling to mount the bike has been hilarious. I think she got it down today.

Those rounded HD boards won’t be nearly as agressive on your calves as the Thrashin' Supply boards to match the others. You might want to keep what you’ve got.

The XR is now completed, till next year anyways and am already planning on that. When I bought this bike, it was literally a mess and everything had to be either replaced, repaired or refinished. I think I achieved the look I was wanting and am looking forward to the weather warming up just a lil bit more. Now on to the next project that's in the garage.

That looks great! And I’m hard to please.

Thanks everyone, I don't have a lot of money to spend so I do what I can for cheap. Man hours I have and labor doesn't cost me anything as I screw up paint work and have to redo it again and again. I hate shiney, hate chrome but like matte finish and contrast. Spent a lot of time buffing plain alum parts to get some shine without chroming. The paint is a matte white with a matte clear coat for durability.
