Any of y'all ever bought ammo from these people? The prices are unreal, but I googled them and seems like a bunch of people complain about long waits and bad service. Trying to figure out if there are any good experiences to counteract the bad ones...

I ended up on their mailing list and got this email a couple days ago: https://mailchi.mp/340c94eb87d3/mcs-our-apologies-and-how-we-are-improving?e=dbdd848a47

Pretty hard not to take notice of prices like this though:

Glad you posted, as I was wondering the same, regarding quality and if they actually go bang! I know a guy that ordered.. he had a long wait, but did get the order (they don’t deny the wait periods as it is mentoring upfront on their site). I have not followed up with him to see how the ammo performed.

And … FREE SHIPPING on order over $300!

whats the price when added to the cart, including shipping and whatever fees are involved? many vendors are “winning” on ammoseek by dropping their list price but then having absurd shipping or processing costs. This way they go to the top of the list. If you want reviews of any ammo seller check ammoseek first.

SG ammo and targetsports have 9mm brass cases for $250 - $260 shipping included. If some no name business is only going to save me $10 then it’s not worth the trouble. YMMV.

Free shipping over $300. If CFF folks give it a green light, this is a situation where some can go in with a buddy… get two cases of 1000 and save the shipping.

On 1000 rounds to SC it's $26 shipping if you keep it under the $300 free shipping deal.

Saw them mentioned in another thread. I think it was @1911gobang who ordered a case from them. When I checked out their website, they are up front about the lead times. Which leads me to believe they are trying to build good customer relations. Giving them the benefit of doubt, I imagine they do have crappy communications. With their prices, probably don’t have time to pick up the phone.

Mentioned them on another forum. One member said it took 98 days to get his order after many emails and phone calls. No idea when this was though. I'd be interested to hear from members here who do order.

Why wait 2-3 months for mixed brass re-manufactured ammo??

SG Ammo delivered 1000 rounds of S&B 124g 9mm to my door in less than 72 hours for $260. Free shipping and double boxed.

19c /round vs 26c/round?

I see your point. It's valid. But the reason to wait is it's dirt cheap.

I always like a good deal if I can find one fo sho!

That "dirt cheap" priced ammo is due to its use of re-manned mixed brass & aluminum cases in the box. It also appears to use copper plated projectiles instead of swaged copper fmj projectiles.
Apples to oranges...

If you can deal with the waiting, its probably a good plinking ammo. If you get some, please review, shoot/test it and post up here on CFF for future reference.

I buy from them all the time. Wait times are sometimes 4 to 6 weeks, but normally less than three. I’ll probably order some more from them next week. I’ve been buying from them for nearly 2 years now.
Any issues with performance? Underpowered, overpowered, FTE, etc…. ???? Are you seeing aluminum cases mixed in, as some one else mentioned previously??

sgammo runs free shipping for all orders over $200. Id take a case of blazer or magtech for $260 plus tax over anything remanufactured or questionable reputation. Then again I haven’t bought 9mm since 2018.

I’ve had 1 out of several hundred fired that failed, from their plinking stuff. Never had any issues with their premium stuff.

10/4! Thank you very much. See any aluminum cases in the plinking mix?
It does mention nickel-plated brass being included…so maybe somebody was confused?

I saw that mentioned and was thinking the same, as well. I don’t have any issues with nickel plated. As long as it goes boom consistently with no perf issues, to me the price is right, considering I only plan to use it to feed targets. I do think I will place an order and will give an update, once received and test… but give me 6-8 weeks, to post! 😁
