My 75yo mother in law rear ended someone in her 2008 Toyota Corolla. She hit an old guy in an old Ford Ranger. The Ranger didn't even get a dent. He happily drove away, and my MiL drove home.

I expect her car (Toyota Corolla with 50k miles) will outlive her, and she's on a fixed income. That's why she lives with me rent free, and we take care of her.

Her car had a shattered passenger headlight, lots of dents and the passenger door wouldn't open at all...

I said, "Don't call your insurance. They'll raise your rates. I'll fix it!" even though I had no idea what I was doing... I don't care about the paint. It was already sun baked and peeling. I just wanted the headlights to function and the door to open again.

Took about 3 youtube videos, 2 hours, and 6 beers... And, I said a few prayers. Thank you God!

Everything went back together and there were no extra parts... Sorry, I forgot to take a before pic...

Nice. I had an 04 (I think) xrs that lasted 500,000+ miles. 2nd, 4th, and 5th gear finally went out before I junked it. Awesome cars.
