My friend and swimming partner is in the hospital

Some of you following my adventures in China know of Catherine. I call her my swimming partner. She calls me uncle.
She has had a fever for several days and was admitted last night or early this morning.
I have not found out more than that yet.
I figured it can't hurt to request prayers from half way around the world.

Not food related. Don't know what it is yet.
Yesterday my archery partner was down due to bad food from a restaurant. She is better today.

That was regarding an article.
Catherine is my swimming partner. We don't work together.
I broke my "rule" for Jade though.
It is much harder when one is completely isolated in a foreign country.

Catherine is home now. She was dehydrated and given IV fluids for 2 hours.
Her fever is coming down too.
Resting at home.

Low grade 101 fever still last night.
Getting better.

She is back at the hospital this morning but the fever is coming down. So, good news bad news.

Catherine is finally getting back to normal. She will be going back to work today at nearly a week of fever and 3 days of IV fluid treatments.

No. Just that it some virus.
Even in the US they don't run tests to identify a virus. Takes longer to get results than the typical virus lasts.
