My LCP Max arrived this morning. I don't own the LCP II but, I've handled them. This one, at first glance, seems to be the LCP II. This is it with the 10 round magazine.

Here it is with the 12 round magazine.

Butt to butt comparison with the LCP, both resting against the straight edge of the magazine.

The max is a little longer and wider in the grip area, that's the main difference. The Max will weigh a little more because it will hold 4 or 6 rounds more than the LCP. The sights are nice but they are a little overkill for me. The standard LCP sights are just fine for a belly gun. At the very end of the slide, the Max is just a little wider at the last serration. You can see it in the 4th picture. This is good because you can get a better grip on the tiny slide.

It will be next week before I get to shoot it and I expect it to run and shoot just like the other LCP's that I've owned, without a problem. When I get to shoot it, I'll update and, if all goes well, I may have to get another one for my left pocket.

THANK YOU! Thank you for posting this, since the original thread about these Ive been interested, as I love my little LCP for CC use.

Im sure it'll run great, the LCP is a great gun and they've worked out the bugs with it over the years (if there were any), so Im sure this will be pretty flawless in the hands of a responsible gun owner (clean it from time to time, firm grip etc)

Great info and post! I believe this will be my next purchase. I current have the LCP Custom and it runs like a champ.

I concerns me when a man with a purple gun says ā€œbutt to buttā€. šŸ˜³
I was hoping there was a perfectly good explanation. Didnā€™t ask for it just in case there wasnā€™t šŸ¤£

I just noticed the 'pistol with fire with magazine removed' in the frame of the pistol. Smart, on their part, and hopefully keeps someone else alive.
We've seen it before, people thinking a gun wont fire if the mag is not inserted (al a that one 'straight' guy on the Joe Exotic show last summer that killed himself)

With the cost of .380 around here, you will double the value just bu/y loading it

I got to run 30 rounds through one yesterday.

I've owned a LCP for around 11 years now, and hope to have the Max by the end of the week to replace my original with.

Slightly wider grip makes it significantly better to shoot. Still fits in my pocket comfortably.

@Etruett helps maintain the integrity and reputation of the CFF Express by pulling through with locating/delivery of the desired LCP MAX as requested by @BatteryOaksBilly .

One more reason why this site is so much more than a firearms forum.

I'm hoping this will give me the capacity of my Beretta in a Much smaller platform. While it won't be near as "classy" it should suffice for a 1 + 1 EDC pair. I'm pairing it with my regular LCP of which I have been carrying two. I'm shedding one LCP of the regular variety and replacing it with this New Whore In Town. As all LCP owners know, they have Never been described as Comfortable to shoot. Perhaps this new one will be more Comforting. So two guns and 20 rounds of ammo in as small a package as I can imagine. Remember, we don't carry two for capacity. We carry two because Murphy is ALIVE!

I am going to have to take a close look at this one as you know i like the 380.

What's that Lcp Max running price wise??

Thank you for posting this. I hesitated and missed my chance to grab one, kicking myself now. Between this and the Shield Plus I am thinking my EDC will be getting a makeover in the (hopefully not too distant) future.

Is it worth the 4 extra bullets ?
7 or so years ago I come across 2 stats. Not sure if they're still valid...but it sure made me think at the time.
1-It takes on average 3 shots by LEO to put someone down.
2-LEO's miss on average 2 out of 3 shots.

Combining those 2 stats, and playing the law of averages, my main EDC needs at minimum 9 rounds.
So does a 10+1 LCP make that much difference over 6+1 LCP?
On average yes.

Look up one more very important stat. The average numbers of shots fired in a gunfight.

Two is one, one is none.
