Almost done with this Frankenstein of a build.
1908 Brazilian mauser action.
Vz24 stock
K98 front and rear sights.
Chambered in 45 auto, takes 1911 mags and fits my hybrid perfectly.
Behold the almost but not quite delisle carbine.

The barrel is 16.5" long. And mostly had the military profile, but the military barrels were roughly 24" so I had to cut the stock down and pin the bayonet lug back on in a way that made it look as original as possible. Also it looks a bit silly but I can mount the bayonet.
Fyi This is not a plug and play operation. You don't need to be a gunsmith per say, but there will be fitting required, both with the stock and some of the adapter pieces.
Feeding is at the moment somewhat reliable, but it needs to be tuned. Problem with the mauser action is that it has to feed from the mag correctly as the extractor cannot jump over the round like on other styles.
Large ring mauser is the easier conversion, but most instructions are on the small ring setups cause they are cheaper
