My turn to ask for prayers or good thoughts or whatever you personally do. Going to have a nuclear stress test and an echo test today and then more testing on Friday. If I survive all that I will have the TURP surgery next week. Cardiologist wouldn't sign off on the TRUP without this because of a few extra heart beats I have. Oh well. It is what it is. Thanks.

Made it thru the first round of tests. Looks like I am popping a PVC about every 4th heart beat. Not sure what that means just yet. Second round of tests coming on Friday.

Round two coming up today. As I said before it looks like I am popping PVC's about every 4th heart beat. No idea yet what that will bring on or whether it will delay my surgery next week. I guess today will tell the tale.
My wife, T2 diabetic, has PVC episodes once a week, no problems found during stress tests with images.

Well I survived round two. Now we wait for the results. Hopefully they will have them before Monday as I have to go to the hospital on Monday for pre-op. Thanks again for the prayers and well wishes.

Ok. Just had my daughter check the results on My Chart( she is an RN). According to her a normal healthy heart operates at around 65 % or so. One in the 30 something % is bordering on heart failure. Mine is operating at 58% which isn't great but not bad for someone my age.
She further says the cardiologist will interperate the results but the surgeon makes the final decision as to whether surgery is a go but based on what she saw she thinks everything will be ok. Thanks again for the prayers and well wishes and remember me next week. Surgery is supposed to be Wednesday.

Well tomorrow is D day. Made it thru all the tests and finally got the cardiologist approval for surgery about an hour after everything was in place for tomorrow atb11:00. Wish me luck.
